Roberto’s
Roberto’s is the destination restaurant at the Hilton Amsterdam, hotel famous for John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s 1969 “bed-in for peace” honeymoon. Its design combines the ethos of 1950s Dutch functionalism with the epitome of Italian styling, creating a perfect harmony between understated elegance and authentic Italian cuisine.
With a style created through the use of rich materials (white leather, brass, mirrors and black and white marble) the diner is taken back to the glamorous 50s and 60s ambiance of black and white movies by directors such as Dino Risi and Luchino Visconti. Entering via a private entrance in the welcome lounge and through to the bar, the restaurant features a bespoke Palissander wood fireplace at the centre of its main dining room.
